Pumpkins Aglow

On Pumpkins Aglow dates, the Conservatory will close to the public at 4PM and reopen at 5PM.

Fall evenings during Pumpkins Aglow offer bewitching scenes and spooky surprises. These family-friendly events occur 5-9pm Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays and 5-10pm Fridays & Saturdays during October 9–13, 16–20 & 23-27.

The Conservatory’s grounds are illuminated with more than a thousand pumpkins carved by staff, volunteers and members. Rediscover familiar favorites like the festive skeletons, pumpkin houses, and the mesmerizing pumpkin tunnel light show. Experience the expanded alien invasion, the lively talking pumpkins, and dancing skeletons. Plus, keep an eye out for a few new surprises!

Don't forget to have fun with light-up lawn games and hula hoops along the way.

Spellbinding Scenes Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from 5-9pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 5-10pm

Make your way through the gardens to all of the displays that are both fun and frightful! Use the map to find them all.
Live Entertainment Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from 6-8pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 6-9pm

Live entertainers will delight visitors at the Lower West Terrace. A new entertainer will perform each week.

Family-friendly activities occur every night in the Pergola in the Grand Mallway.

Spooky Sand Art: $4 per craft
Spider Spin Art: $3 per craft
Glass Pumpkin Patch Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from 5-9pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 5-10pm

Beautiful glass pumpkins made by local artists and autumnal merchandise will be available for sale.
Food Vendors Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from 5-8pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 5-9pm

A rotating selection of local food trucks will be available.

Member Pumpkin Carving Be a part of this year's Pumpkins Aglow! Members will have a chance to sharpen their creative skills and submit carved pumpkins to be featured in the display. Hot Shop Pumpkin Classes Our most popular Hot Shop studio class! Create a colorful glass pumpkin. No experience is necessary. Classes available from August through October.

Chihuly Collection Explore the Conservatory after dark during Pumpkins Aglow where the Chihuly Collection is professionally illuminated against the backdrop of the interior Conservatory. Interior Conservatory Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from 5-9pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 5-10pm

Find out what the interior Conservatory's biomes, glasshouse and courtyards are like after dark. Certain portions may be closed for private events.
Harvest Blooms Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from 5-9pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 5-10pm

Thousands of hearty pumpkins, rich mums, exquisite cabbages and more fill the gardens.

The garden railway is decorated with fall horticulture and lights.

Cocktails at the Conservatory - Booze in the Garden Join us for an unforgettable adults-only (21+) Halloween event filled with eerie delights and spine-chilling thrills. Stroll through the Conservatory grounds at night with spooky cocktails in hand, courtesy of local distilleries. On October 31 from 5:30-9:30pm. Reservations required!
