Indoor Tropical Houseplants

This is a hands-on class taught by Conservatory educator Nicole Tabit.

With the cold weather and shorter days of winter, turn to houseplants to brighten up your home! Houseplants have been shown to improve mood, lower stress, and as a bonus they add brightness and color to your home. In this class, we will talk about a variety of tropical houseplants that might work in your home, while considering lighting needs, watering requirements, and the space you have available. We will also pot a tropical houseplant to take home, and leave with the confidence you need to start an indoor tropical collection.
