The Communal Garden: Managing Your Garden

Classes in The Communal Garden series teach gardeners skills that can be used in community gardens or to support their community through gardening. They are low-cost in an effort to advance gardening skills in our communities. The series is a part of the Conservatory’s Growing to Green program, which supports and develops community gardens across Central Ohio.

Learn the strategy on managing your garden for success and fostering collaboration and connection within urban community gardens. In this class, we’ll explore effective ways to engage neighbors, and volunteers, establish clear, inclusive garden rules, and discover how to build meaningful partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits to support your garden’s growth and sustainability.
