The Conservatory offers the ideal settings for ceremonies and receptions of any size. Whether you are planning a close and intimate gathering or a grand and lavish affair, a wedding at the Conservatory is sure to set the scene for romance and to create timeless memories.

Palm House
Amid an extraordinary tropical plant and palm collection, this magical greenhouse offers a unique ambiance. The intricate Victorian architecture combines the elements of glass and stone in picturesque grace, the ideal backdrop for your wedding. Double grand staircases give an elegant and dramatic entrance, descending into the lush garden setting. Chihuly chandeliers, iron gazebos, and a Venetian-style fountain enhance the natural beauty of this lavish greenhouse.

Internationally renowned award-winning artist James Turrell illuminates the Conservatory’s historic glass Palm House in an inspiring display of light. This permanent installation will perform each evening beginning at dusk, Click here to lean more about Light Raiment II, 2008

Surround yourself with nature. The West Terrace provides spectacular views of the Grand Mallway and award-winning botanical gardens. This charming brick veranda extends from the Palm House and features a crescent-shaped flower bed with seasonal color. The perfect setting for both casual and formal occasions, the West Terrace provides an exquisite and colorful locale for your ceremony or reception.

At the heart of the Conservatory, the Grand Atrium is our largest indoor space. Featuring stately pillars, slate tile and a full-length skylight, which provides natural light throughout, this unique venue is the ideal location for a seated dinner or cocktail reception. The Grand Atrium is only available after 5 p.m.

Overlooking the Conservatory’s Bonsai Courtyard, this rooftop venue features a Zen Garden, planters with tall bamboo, and an elegant wall of Bonsai. It can be tented and is flanked by the Palm House

The Veridian
Combining outside beauty with inside comfort for up to 130 of your guests, this grand event space features a ceramic tile floor, exposed stone walls, and wood beamed ceilings. Tropical plants and Dale Chihuly glass artwork enhance this room’s natural, organic feel. Large windows and doors provide access to the picturesque Brides Garden. It is a truly versatile venue for receptions, corporate meetings, seminars, or luncheons.

The Grove provides views of Franklin Park’s beautiful botanical gardens and the surrounding city. Large vertical water features create a tranquil ambiance. Mirroring the Palm House cupola, an elegant white belvedere adds to the visual appeal of this spacious 4,500 square foot rooftop garden.
