International designer Charles Faudree will indulge guests with luscious visuals and detailed descriptions of interior design projects featured in his most recent books, Country French Florals and Interiors (May 2008) and in Interiors, due out this October. Offering an abundance of personal decorating ideas, plus advice from floral artist Toni Garner whose work is featured in the book, Faudree will share a cornucopia of ideas for enriching your time at home and glamming it up for any celebration or gathering of company. Books by Faudree will be for sale throughout the weekend and he will be available for a book signing, following his talk.

Charles Faudree's thirty-five years as an interior designer have allowed him to work throughout the United States and Europe. Charles has been featured as one of eight designers in Traditional Homes Signature Style, and in 1995, Charles received the Traditional Home Designer of the Year Award. Most recently, he has been featured in House Beautiful's "Top Designers in America" in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

He has also published three books, Country French Florals & Interiors (May 2008), French County Signature and French Country Living. Charles' designs have appeared in such publications as Veranda, House Beautiful, Southern Living, Southern Accents, Traditional Home, Renovations Style, House and Garden and Country Living.

Landscape architect Chip Callaway is nationally respected and well-known for historic design and landscape restoration. In this presentation, Chip will share details and images from his most notable projects including the Richmond Hill Inn (c. 1890) in Asheville, North Carolina; The Roper House (c. 1840) in Charleston, South Carolina; Alexander Graham Bell House (c. 1860) in Washington, D.C.; and Ayr Mount Plantation (c. 1815) in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

For more than a quarter century, Chip Callaway has designed nearly 1,000 gardens ranging in size from large estates to small patios, and in areas as diverse as Nantucket and Long Island to Palm Beach and England. Throughout his career, Chip has developed a list of favorite plants. Learn how you might utilize these common, often under-appreciated plants, in your own garden.
