Green Corps

headerbar_greencorps.jpgThe Franklin County Green Corps Jobs Program provides horticulture and landscaping training to low-income adults, ages 18–30, interested in obtaining a career in the green, environmental and agricultural industries. Participants work side-by-side with employees at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens learning skills in horticulture, landscape and garden maintenance and green practices. Concentrated classroom and hands-on training, including guest speakers and field trips to local businesses, provide comprehensive preparation so participants may confidently enter the job market at the end of the 32-week training program.

The 2015 Green Corps program begins February 2, 2015.
