Photography

Personal amateur photography is welcome at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens as long as it is for personal use and enjoyment, rather than for commercial or gallery use. Professional commercial photography must be arranged in advance by calling 614.715.8100 and is subject to a fee. For information on one-year Photographer’s Memberships that permit commercial photography, phone 614.715.8054. Members of the media should contact the Marketing Department at 614.715.8150 or marketing@fpconservatory.org.

Snow Emergencies

If a Level Two snow emergency is declared in Franklin County, it is likely that the Conservatory will be closed to the public. However, if you wish to confirm, you may phone the Conservatory's Security Office at 614.715.8166.

Directions

Franklin Park Conservatory is located at 1777 E. Broad Street, just less than two miles from downtown Columbus, near the intersection of East Broad Street and Nelson Road. If your trip to the Conservatory  takes you near the downtown Columbus interchanges of I70/I-71 and I-670, be aware that construction is creating shifting traffic patterns and ramp closures. For updated details of closures and detours, visit the Ohio Department of Transportation website for current information and updated maps of the construction zone.

Franklin Park Conservatory Access

Free admission is available on the first Wednesday evening of every month* for families and individuals in eligible programs with proof of participation. To be eligible, visitors must show a photo ID plus one of the following forms of ID at the Visitor Center: Ohio Directions card, Medicaid card, W.I.C. card, Molina card or Care Source Options.
